Synopsis:
Based on the true story of Dottie and Brandi Thorson, wife and daughter of the infamous real-life bounty hunter, Ralph "Papa" Thorson. Immediately following Ralph's death in a mysterious car bomb explosion, these two women learn that they are in an enormous amount of debt with no clear means of support. They reluctantly team up as bounty hunters because it's the only business they know. Dottie and Brandi quickly figure out that they have a better chance of capturing their targets by using guile and persuasion. They put a new twist on bounty hunting as they integrate their feminine characteristics and personality traits into a profession dominated by men.

The pair become involved with the lowest common denominator of mankind when they chase after hardened criminals and do whatever it takes to apprehend them. Working as a team has its ups and downs as mother and daughter struggle to define their new career and how it drastically changes their relationship. In their activities as a bounty-hunting duo, they cross paths with Tiny Bellows, a legendary fugitive destined to a life of crime, and Ricky Guzman, a bailbondsman who hires Dottie and Brandi.
