Synopsis:
Documentary that emphasizes personal stories, struggles and achievements of African-American athletes. More than 100 years of events are chronicled, using moments in American history as a backdrop for African-American achievements. Part 1 covers the years 1875-1950; Part 2, 1950 to the present.
