Synopsis:
The tenth annual special celebrating the performing arts and honoring some of the world's most distinguised artists for lifetime achievement: singer Perry Como, actress Bette Davis, singer and entertainer Sammy Davis Jr., musician Nathan Milstein, and choreographer Alwin Nikolais. The program was taped before an invitational black-tie audience in the Opera House of the John F. Kennedy Center For the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
