Synopsis:
An eight-part, British series based on the heroic endeavors of King Arthur and his knights of the Round Table. The drama begins in the Dark Ages in England and describes the circumstances of Arthur's birth and assumption of the throne. It details the events of his reign, and such familiar characters as Merlin, Lancelot, Guinevere, Galahad, and Morgan LeFay. It ends with Arthur's death, and the destruction of his sword, Excalibur.
