Synopsis:
An adaptation of Wilkie Collins' mystery novel, "The Moonstone." Set in the mid 19th century, this is the story of a priceless diamond stolen from a sacred shrine in India. The jewel, later given to the beautiful heiress Rachel Verinder by her suitor Franklin Blake, brings with it a curse. When it mysteriously disappears, suspicion falls on three Indian jugglers. During his investigation, Sergeant Cuff uncovers a web of deception and intrigue.
