Synopsis:
Stephen Lawrence, the 18-year-old son of Jamaican immigrants Neville and Doreen Lawrence, is stabbed to death one night in April 1993 while waiting for a bus in southeast London. The assailants, five white-supremacist teens, are identified almost immediately, but the police don't arrest them for two weeks. This is just the beginning of Neville and Doreen's five-year battle for justice in the face of what they see as institutional racism in Britain's judicial system.
