Synopsis:

A documentary examining the McCarran-Walter Act, passed by Congress at the height of the McCarthy era in 1952, which empowers the government to deny visas to foreigners wishing to enter the United States, based on their political beliefs. Under that Act, well-known authors, prominent politicians, and others who disagree with U.S. administration policy, have been denied entry into the U.S.
