Synopsis:
The Karen Silkwood case provided the rather obvious inspiration for this fictionalized account of a plutonium plant employee who becomes the target of management as well as union harassment when she tries to blow the whistle on the company for negligent safety procedures, and soon finds her life in peril. This film, of course, preceded "Silkwood" by three years. It received an Emmy Award nomination for its sound mixer.
