Synopsis:
By day, Joshua McCord is a Dallas University professor. By night, he's the president's man. In a position dating back to the tenure of George Washington, Joshua serves as a highly classified secret agent who goes on special missions for the president, including rescues, the recovery of sensitive materials and assassinations. The First Lady is vacationing in Rio when she is taken hostage by terrorists. Within hours, Joshua has singlehandedly battled the armed terrorists and saved the First Lady, but the incident has made him realize that he is ready to retire from this dangerous life. Enter Deke Slater, an intense former sargeant who has been doing time in military prison for disobeying his lieutenant. The liaison between Joshua and the president, offers Deke his freedom -- if he's up to the task of serving as the next president's man.
