Synopsis:
An ageless carpenter manages to remain untouched by the corruption of the 20th century until he becomes the target of a greedy developer. Noah Dearborn, a master craftsman and farmer, has discovered that the secret to staying young is meaningful work. His life is altered, however, when real estate developer Christian Nelson offers to purchase his property for a large sum. Noah declines but Nelson won't take "no" for answer and devises a plan to have Noah declared mentally incompetent. Nelson calls upon his psychiatrist girlfriend Valerie Crane to meet with Noah and determine his psychological status. While at a diner run by Noah's friend Sarah McClellan, Valerie notices recent photographs of Noah. But he also appears, looking exactly the same, in one black and white photograph dated more than 40 years earlier. This sparks Valerie's curiosity and leads her on a mission to learn more about Noah.
