Synopsis:
Based on the story from Greek mythology. Theseus, who was born on an island and raised by his mother, learns that he is the son of Aegeus, and sets out to reclaim his throne. After reuniting with his father, Theseus journeys to Crete to kill the Minotaur, to whom Athens must sacrifice 14 youths a year. Theseus accomplishes his mission, but sets in motion a curse that dooms Aegeus.
