Synopsis:
Television movie based on Robert B. Parker's novel about Boston private detective Spenser. The beautiful young bride of his old pal, Sergeant Frank Belson, disappears into thin air, leaving Spenser to probe the mysteries of her checkered past. With his sidekick Hawk away on assignment, Spenser teams up with Chollo to crack the case. It turns out the new bride was kidnapped by a madman intent upon turning her into his bride. As Spenser wheels and deals with boozy, broken cops and messianic local warlords, he finds himself on a dangerous trail of obsession and violence.
