Synopsis:
The story of Maggie Moreno, a tomboy whose brush with fate gives her an opportunity of a lifetime. Cole Thompson makes a bet with his boss that he can take any girl off the street and turn her into a pop star. Maggie accepts Cole's offer and after a long month of makeovers, voice and dance lessons, Maggie's new persona, Solita, takes the stage and is an immediate hit. Maggie is torn between her heritage and Latina family background and the Latino stereotype she's become as Solita.
