Synopsis:
A police action drama dealing with a maverick chief of detectives with two cop killings and a rash of bank robberies on his hands who is forced to wage war against a back-stabbing police commissioner with political ambitions and a black revolutionary leader plotting a police massacre. Emmy Award nominations went to editors Donald R. Rode and Harry Kaye. Joe Don Baker reprised his role in the series "Eischied" that began in the fall of 1979.
