Synopsis:
The New York Philharmonic with conductor Kurt Masur, and special guests, the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra with conductor Wynton Marsalis present a tribute to jazz legend Duke Ellington from Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall in New York City. Includes selections from Edvard Grieg's "Peer Gynt" conducted by Masur and performed by the New York Philharmonic, as well as selections from "Peer Gynt" arranged by Duke Ellington and performed by the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra with Marsalis.
