Synopsis:
When Lucinda, an ex-con hoping to start a new life, meets Matt, a cop, they don't hit it off but Matt fixes her up with his best friend Clay, as a practical joke. Clay falls for Lucinda and the two eventually marry, much to Matt's dismay. As Lucinda begins living an extravagant life, she resents Clay's attempts to curtail her spending and reveals an ugly side of her personality. Clay is then found murdered and Matt believes Lucinda is guilty, despite her airtight alibi. Inspired by actual events.
