ABC Finally Delivers Word on ‘Scandal,’ ‘Apt 23,’ and ‘Cougar Town’ Premieres

Dont Trust the Bitch in Apt 23We’ve been wondering when a few of ABC’s new shows would start delivering entertainment, and now we can rest easy: they have premiere dates. The Shonda Rimes series, Scandal, starring Kerry Washington will premiere April 5 at 10 p.m. and that comedy that stars James Van Der Beek as himself, Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23, will take over the Happy Endings timeslot Wednesday, April 11 at 9:30 p.m. Don’t worry Happy Endings fans, the sitcom’s season finale will have aired at that point – ABC isn’t pulling a stunt like NBC did with Community. And fans of Private Practice should know that their medical drama will jump to Tuesday nights after Dancing with the Stars to make room for Scandal

Also on deck for more small screen time is Cougar Town, which doesn’t have an official return date, but instead received the all-ambiguous “tentative” scheduling “sometime in March.” I’m sure this lack of an actual date is a bit maddening for Cougar Town fans, but hey, at least it’s coming back!
