The overall title for a series of original television productions. Included presentations: (1) "Olympus 7000" (10/12/66). A comedy about a football coach and his efforts to organize a professional team from a group of misfits. (2) "The Canterville Ghost" (11/2/66). A musical version of the Oscar Wilde story (adapted by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick) about an American family who move into an English home that is haunted by a ghost.
(3) "The Love Song of Barney Kempinski" (9/14/66; written by Murray Schisgal). A comedy about a bachelor's last fling--a tour of New York City--before he marries. (4) "I'm Getting Married" (3/16/67). A two character musical satire by Betty Comden, Adolph Green and Jule Styne. The story of a young go getter who is about to marry, but thinks only of getting ahead in the business world.
(5) "C'est La Vie" (2/23/67). A musical review of songs from films, Broadway and various fields of popular music. (6) "A Time for Laughter" (4/6/67). A review of black humor in America.
