Fortune Feimster engaged

Actress Fortune Feimster is engaged, and has a surprise wedding officiant in her The Mindy Project co-star Mindy Kaling.
The 37-year-old popped the question to partner Jacquelyn Smith while they were on vacation, and shared photos of the couple celebrating their engagement on social media on Friday (05Jan18).
“After two and a half years with my beautiful lady, she’s officially my feyoncé,” Feimster posted on Instagram and Twitter, jokingly referencing Beyonce, along with photos of her and fiancee in Big Sur, California, where they had been enjoying a romantic break at the Post Ranch Inn.
“A few days ago Fortune asked me to join her on a magical adventure to Big Sur… yes, yes, a thousand times, yes,” Smith captioned her three photos, and showed off her diamond ring.
And The Mindy Project star and creator Kaling was thrilled about the engagement.
“This is exciting!! I will officiate,” the 38-year-old new mother wrote under her co-star’s snap, to which Feimster excitedly responded: “YES PLEASE!!”
The actress later thanked her Twitter followers for their messages by sharing her favourite reaction from a fan that was confused by her Beyonce reference in her engagement announcement.
“My favorite response to this post so far has been from someone who was upset with me because they thought I didn’t know how to spell fiance. But, seriously, thank you guys for all the love,” she tweeted on Friday.
The actress plays Colette Kimball-Kinney on the long-running Hulu comedy drama, and has been a series regular since 2015.
She has also made appearances in shows including Life in Pieces, Glee and Workaholics.
