Amanda Seyfried Returns For ‘Big Love’ Finale

Amanda SeyfriedShe may be a romantic comedy leading lady now, but before she made it big, Amanda Seyfried entertained us on a little show with a whole lot of love. She played Sarah, the daughter of Big Love’s polygamists, Bill (Bill Paxton) and Barb (Jeanne Tripplehorn). When her movie career hit an upswing, so did her character’s pension for independence and she and her husband ran off, allowing the real life actress more freedom to play modern Juliets and oversexed Little Red Riding Hoods in Hollywood. Now that Big Love is nearing its end, Seyfried is making sure to say thanks to the show that made her more than just that dumb girl with ESP(N?) from Mean Girls by returning for the show’s finale.

Seyfried’s former costar and onscreen hubby, Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) will also return for the last episode which will air in March. The fifth and final season of Big Love begins January 16 on HBO.

Celebrity Editor Kelsea Stahler was born in a pile of dirt. Okay, she was actually born in an old Naval hospital in San Diego, which then became a pile of dirt and remained as such for a number of years before becoming a parking lot perfectly sized for circus tents, and finally a museum. She eventually left San Diego to attend New York University, where she studied Journalism and English literature — two less-than profitable liberal arts degrees about which guidance counselors warned her. Against all odds, she now resides in Brooklyn, where she fights the constant fear that the locals will soon discover she isn’t quite cool enough to live there, and makes a living writing absurd, pop culture features about Batman, zombies, vampires, funny people, and Ron Swanson.
