She may be a romantic comedy leading lady now, but before she made it big, Amanda Seyfried entertained us on a little show with a whole lot of love. She played Sarah, the daughter of Big Love’s polygamists, Bill (Bill Paxton) and Barb (Jeanne Tripplehorn). When her movie career hit an upswing, so did her character’s pension for independence and she and her husband ran off, allowing the real life actress more freedom to play modern Juliets and oversexed Little Red Riding Hoods in Hollywood. Now that Big Love is nearing its end, Seyfried is making sure to say thanks to the show that made her more than just that dumb girl with ESP(N?) from Mean Girls by returning for the show’s finale.
Seyfried’s former costar and onscreen hubby, Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) will also return for the last episode which will air in March. The fifth and final season of Big Love begins January 16 on HBO.
