Seeking some warmth in their freezing hotel room, Chester Barnes and Phil Keese, two unsuccessful comics, begin to boil milk on the oven. Having taken sleeping pills, the two fall asleep before turning off the oven. The fumes from the oven begins to kill them, but a split second before they die, the cold air freezes them in suspended animation. They end up at a point in time 120 years in the future, when scientists have discovered the process of cell rejuvination and are able to thaw them out.
