On the eve of the series finale of her ABC show Ugly Betty, America Ferrera has set her sights on another telenovela, this time with MTV.
The actress will executive produce Pedro & Maria, which is being described as “the first-ever multicultural, interactive series built for the digital age.”
Pedro & Maria was co-created, and is currently being co-developed, by Ben Silverman, the former co-chairman of NBC Entertainment who also served as an exec producer on Betty.
