Synopsis

Documentary touring lavish homes which were constructed using parts of European castles, a trend popular with wealthy Americans in the 1920's: Salisbury House, modeled after the King's House in Salisbury, England, and assembled from various European castles in 1923; Agecroft Hall, originally built in the late 1400's in Lancashire, England, and reassembled in 1925 by T.C. Williams, Jr.; and Virginia House built in Warwick, England, in 1119, reassembled in 1925 by Alexander Weddell.
