Synopsis

Special looks at the homes of three American artists: Beauport, built in 1907 by interior designer Henry Davis Sleeper; Chesterwood, built in 1901 by Daniel Chester French, the sculptor of Lincoln's statue in the Lincoln Memorial; and The Longfellow House, built in 1759 by a wealthy Royalist, later used by George Washington during the siege of Boston and purchased in 1837 by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's father-in-law as a wedding gift.
