American Crime Story season three to focus on Versace murder

The third season of director Ryan Murphy’s American Crime Story will focus on the murder of fashion king Gianni Versace.
Murphy’s series opened with the acclaimed dramatisation of the O.J. Simpson murder trial earlier this year (16), and his second season will chronicle Hurricane Katrina and the aftermath of the storm.
And the director won’t be wasting any time before his third run, revealing it will focus on serial killer Andrew Cunanan‘s murder of Gianni Versace in 1997.
Seasons two and three have both been picked up by TV studio bosses.
Murphy’s American Crime Story: People v. O.J. Simpson won 10 Emmy Awards last month (Sep16).
