This is no illusion, Michael — Netflix confirmed during Wednesday’s Critics Association Press Tour that the beloved (formerly) canceled sitcom would return on an unnamed date in May, with 14 (!) simultaneous brand new episodes. They also debuted a sizzle reel from the new and (is it even possible?) improved Arrested Development, which included footage of GOB (Will Arnett) on a cross, George Michael (Michael Cera) and someone else in the shower, Michael (Jason Bateman) going in for a kiss with what appeared to be Liza Minnelli, and someone stealing the aforementioned George Michael’s girlfriend (please be Ann…I mean, Bland).
Netflix’s PR site also debuted two brand new photos from the series — one of George Michael driving the infamous family truck (does this mean he’s working with the Bluth Company?) and one of Michael arguing with Workaholics‘ Adam Devine. Check em’ out below, and let us know your thoughts — because you should always. Leave. A note.
