The second in a series of primetime specials produced jointly by CBS News and Time magazine celebrating the lives and legacies of 100 people who shaped the past 100 years, coinciding with six special issues of Time magazine. The second special reveals the list of the 20 artists and entertainers who most influenced the 20th century and explores the impact and influence their lives had on the country and the world. The chosen 20 are: Louis Armstrong, Lucille Ball, the Beatles, Marlon Brando, Coco Chanel, Charlie Chaplin, Bob Dylan, T.S. Eliot, Aretha Franklin, Martha Graham, Jim Henson, James Joyce, Le Corbusier, Pablo Picasso, Rodgers and Hammerstein, cartoon character Bart Simpson, Frank Sinatra, Steven Spielberg, Igor Stravinsky and talk show host Oprah Winfrey.
