Battle of the Video Games | 1982
Four three-member celebrity teams play video games for charity. Round One involves one member from each team playing a specific video game (e.g. Ms. Pac-Man). The highest scorer receives ten points for his team; second place players score five points; and three points are awarded to the third place player. Two additional rounds are played that involve the remaining team members. The two highest scoring teams compete in a final round--a game of Pac-Man (which involves the best player on each team). The team with the highest score wins $5,000 for the charity of their choice. The second place team receives $2,500; $1,500 is awarded to the third place team; and the fourth place team receives $1,000.
