Benedict Arnold: A Question of Honor
Television movie that chronicles the events that lead to the betrayal by one of the Continental Army's most decorated soldiers, Benedict Arnold. Arnold was a trusted soldier of General George Washington's army, but after Congress failed to acknowledge his contributions to the war effort, he became embittered. After meeting and falling in love with Peggy Shippen, a British sympathizer who became his second wife, Arnold began to question his commitment to the American Revolution. Buckling under the weight of increasing personal debt, Arnold offered his services to the British, making his name a synonym for treason.
