Berkeley Square | 1998
Set in London in 1902, three young women from very different backgrounds are hired to work in Berkeley Square households. Matty Wickham is an experienced nanny who cares for the children of the St. John household whose attractive mother may be having affairs with men other than her husband. Unmarried Hannah Randall arrives in London with her infant son, where she is befriended by a Polish immigrant who cares for the baby while Hannah goes to work as a nursemaid for neglected Albert Hutchinson. And Lydia Weston is a green, but good-natured farm girl who is taken into the household of the Lamson-Scribeners to help the aging Nanny Collins.
