Boot Camp | 2000
Reality series in which a squad of 16 participants, both men and women, are put through military training under five ex-U.S. military drill instructors (DIs). The contestants vie for a $500,000 cash prize by competing on both an individual and team basis, during which they must confront their fears and overcome severe tests of physical and mental endurance. Each episode requires the members of the squad to select a leader from one of their own who is responsible for the success or failure of that episode's mission. Each show culminates with the dismissal of the weakest squad member, who then chooses another member to leave with him or her. The last two remaining squad members compete in the ultimate final mission for half a million dollars.
