Casting Roundup: Cheryl Ladd Joins ‘Chuck,’ ‘True Blood’ Star on ‘Hawaii Five-0′

Cheryl LaddLong ago, Cheryl Ladd entered the world of superspies as one of Charlie’s Angels. Now, she’ll be making a secret agent comeback in the NBC spy comedy series, Chuck. Ladd will play the mother to character Sarah, portrayed by Yvonne Stahovski. Ladd will also be seen in an upcomign episode of NCIS, enjoying a romance with David McCallum’s character. Chuck’s fifth and final season will premiere Friday, Oct. 28 on NBC. -TVLine

True Blood star Chris Bauer will be joining Hawaii Five-0. Bauer will play an oil rig manager who find that one of his employees has been murdered. Bauer will be only one notable star bringing a case to the Hawaii Five-0 team this season. Others yet to come: Jimmy Buffett, Tom Sizemore and Peter Fonda. -Vulture

Film legend Brad Dourif will be accepting a guest role in the upcoming television series Once Upon a Time. Dourif was immortalized by his role of Billy Bibbit in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Dourif will play a beggar character in Once Upon a Time who befriends Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle). Once Upon a Time premieres Sunday, Oct. 23 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. -TVGuide
