You’d think that the Oscars and the Golden Globes would rope in the biggest stars for hosting gigs among the awards shows, but the Kids Choice Awards might have them beat this year. In honor of the milestone that is Nickelodeon’s 25th Annual Kids Choice Awards (which, by the way, probably makes a lot of us feel super old), the network is giving the hosting spot to one of the biggest stars in the world: Will Smith. Smith has been a winner of several KCA Blimps in the past, and has expressed great pleasure with the opportunity to host the 2012 ceremony. The 25th Annual Kids Choice Awards will air live on Saturday, Mar. 31 at 8 p.m. ET on Nickelodeon. –TV by the Numbers

The ABC sitcom The Middle often brings in impressive castmembers to play educators in the lives of the three troublesome Heck children. So far, we’ve seen Chord Overstreet and Doris Roberts head the classroom on the series. Now, Whoopi Goldberg will take a shot. She’ll guest star the guidance counselor to the socially awkward middle child, Sue (Eden Schur). The Middle airs Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. –TVGuide
