CBS Cancels ‘CSI: NY,’ ‘Rules of Engagement,’ ‘Vegas,’ and ‘Golden Boy’

CBS Cancellations

It looks likes CBS doesn’t want to be left out of the cancellation club, because the eye network has just axed not one but four of its shows.

Which shows got the boot? Deadline reports that the long-running CSI: NY, continually resurrected comedy series Rules of Engagement, and freshman dramas Vegas and Golden Boy all got the dreaded calls. None of this news comes as too much of a shock considering all four of these shows have been underwhelming in the ratings all season.

And just in case you’ve been living under a TV news-free rock for the past couple hours, here are a few other cancellations you should know about: NBC dropped Go On, TNT canceled Southland, and USA has burned Burn Notice.
