Cee Lo Green Goes Scripted in NBC Family Comedy

Cee Lo Green NBC Family ComedyCee Lo Green has gotten NBC to turn their chair around for him, it seems! The The Voice mentor has negotiated himself a comedy project that is, according to Deadline, loosely based on the real life relationship he has with his ex-wife and children. No word if Purrfect The Cat will star as well.

Green won’t just be acting in the program, though: on top of being the show’s star, he is also set to executive produce the multi-camera comedy. The synopsis revolves around Cee Lo playing a version of himself while balancing career obligations and a hectic home life.

We have reached out to NBC for comment but have not heard back at the time of publication.
