Cee Lo Green has gotten NBC to turn their chair around for him, it seems! The The Voice mentor has negotiated himself a comedy project that is, according to Deadline, loosely based on the real life relationship he has with his ex-wife and children. No word if Purrfect The Cat will star as well.
Green won’t just be acting in the program, though: on top of being the show’s star, he is also set to executive produce the multi-camera comedy. The synopsis revolves around Cee Lo playing a version of himself while balancing career obligations and a hectic home life.
We have reached out to NBC for comment but have not heard back at the time of publication.
