Chains of Love | 2000
Game show in which a man or woman selects four members of the opposite sex that he or she would like to date from a pool of about 100. The primary contestant -- called "The Picker" -- is then linked to the four by approximately six feet of chain with alternating ankle and wrist cuffs and less than 24 inches between each person. Throughout the next four days, the captive cast is put through a series of challenges to test their patience, perseverance and ultimately, their romantic compatibility. Cameras track their every move at their home away from home, a palatial estate overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The group also ventures out on field trips. When "The Locksmith" appears without warning, The Picker must immediately unchain one person, until only one couple remains. The Picker has the option of keeping all of the prize money or giving a portion to the last contestant.
