Country star Clara Henningsen has wed in a romantic ceremony on her family’s farm. The Henningsens vocalist exchanged vows with her sweetheart Jacob Calaway at sunset on the sprawling countryside estate in Atwood, Illinois on Saturday (04May13).
She walked down the aisle to her father and bandmate Brian Henningsen’s recording of Beautiful You.
More than 300 guests attended the wedding and enjoyed a feast of roasted hog following the nuptials.
The bride tells People.com, “It just felt right to get married in the house that built me, the farm where I grew up. It is a blessed place.”
The couple, dating since September 2011, will honeymoon in the Caribbean once Clara’s upcoming live commitments with the band are complete.
