‘Community’ Scoop: Alison Brie and Danny Pudi Talk ‘Intro to Political Science’

Tonight on Community, things are getting a little political. We had a chance to hear about all the details from the actors themselves, Danny Pudi (Abed) and Alison Brie (Annie), and from the sound of it, we’re in for another thrilling (but mostly hilarious) treat. As you can see from some of the photos below, the episode will entail Jeff and Annie going head to head in the race for student body president after the Dean scrambles to put together some sort of student government to impress Joe Biden. Oh yeah, he’s supposed to be on his way to the campus, no biggie. Abed is charged with covering the election for the school’s radio station (since when did they have one of those?) but wait, there’s more! It looks like we can expect more sneaky side-plots from Abed (remember the baby he delivered?). “Yes [Abed] sort of lives this other secret life. And I think it actually is a really fun little secret story that he has going on with this other secret agent [Eliza Coupe],” Pudi said.

So we can look forward to more Abed-y goodness, but what about Jeff and Annie? Is that still a thing? Brie says it’s still going and that we may see a little more of that spark this episode, “I think that there is a bit of a push and pull between the two of them. And actually in this episode that we’re talking about there’s a bit of that tension there as well throughout the election…So their spark is not totally dead.” So there you have it folks, there’s still hope for Jefannie or Anneff or whatever the interwebs are calling them. Is anyone else stoked that the E Pluribus Anus symbol is emblazoned on those podiums?
