A California couple is suing CSI: Crime Scene Investigation producers after a writer allegedly used their identities for diabolical characters in the drama.
Scott and Melinda Tamkin claim Sarah Goldfinger purposely named them in a bid to shame the couple over an ongoing dispute.
In their suit, obtained by TMZ.com, the Tamkins claim their drama doppelgangers “engaged in a reckless lifestyle of sexual bondage, pornography, drunkenness, marital discord, depression, financial straits and possibly even murder.”
The couple claims TV network bosses at CBS acknowledged the problem and changed the names, but the details had already leaked online.
The Tamkins claim their good names have been tarnished, and they are suing CBS, Goldfinger and the producers.
