David and Lisa | 1998
A remake of Frank and Eleanor Perry's 1962 film "David and Lisa," based on the book by Theodore Isaac Rubin about two teenagers who live at the Borders School, a school for disturbed youth. David is a brilliant but troubled teen obsessed with time and death. No one seems to be able to reach him, until the arrival of Lisa, a young woman trapped in her own world, who speaks only in rhymes. As David and Lisa slowly fall in love, they find in each other the power to rebuild their lives with the help of Dr. Jack Miller, who runs the school.
