Emma Roberts is developing a new series based on V.e. Schwab’s vampire novels for Netflix.
The actress will produce the project, based on the short story First Kill, which is part of the collection Vampires Never Get Old: Tales with Fresh Bite.

Schwab will take on the role of creator, writer, and executive producer for the supernatural effort, which follows an undead teen who mistakenly chooses a vampire hunter as her first victim.
Roberts also has another exciting venture on the horizon – she’s expecting her first child with Garrett Hedlund.
