Family Album | 1993
A married couple struggle to balance being good parents to their three offspring while being good children to their own parents. Dr. Jonathan Lerner and his architect wife Denise return to Philadelphia from California to raise their children, 7-year-old Max, 11-year-old Jeffrey and 14-year-old Nicki. This places them in close proximity to their own parents. Jonathan's parents Sid and Lillian want to tell him how to run his life while Denise's mother Ruby DeMattis is judgmental and overbearing. Also in the area is Denise's sister Sheila, unmarried and raising rebellious teenage son Elvis.
