Synopsis

A spinoff from the series "Alice." Promised a hostess job in Houston, Florence Jean Castleberry leaves Arizona and her job as a waitress at Mel's Diner and heads for greener pastures in Texas. Enroute, however, she stops off at her hometown, Cowtown, Texas, and on a dare buys a rundown roadhouse, which she turns into a bar and renames "Flo's Golden Rose." The series depicts her misadventures as she attempts to run the bar.
