At the Television Critics Association press tour on Thursday, Fox Entertainment Chairman Kevin Reilly discussed how Glee will address the death of star Cory Monteith as the show enters its fifth season. The third episode will center on the death of Monteith’s character Finn, which Reilly said will “deal directly with the incidents involved with Cory’s passing.”

Reilly did not confirm whether Finn will die from a drug overdose, which was Monteith’s cause of death. However, the special tribute episode will feature public service announcements about drug abuse from the cast. Additionally, the proceeds of the music sales from the episode will go towards starting a fund in Monteith’s memory.

“Cory was a big open life force. He was not a problem,” Reilly said. “Everybody was shocked, but this was an accident. It happened to someone struggling with addiction.”

Reilly also added that he doesn’t see Glee staying on the air for longer than two more seasons.

“Look, never say never, but there’s two very clear arcs to get to the end and conclude. Right now we’re just thinking about two more seasons,” Reilly said.
