It looks like “civil disobedience” is one of the trademarks of County General Hospital’s residency program. Not long after ER alum George Clooney was arrested in Washington D.C. for protesting outside the Sudanese Embassy, his series costar Noah Wyle has also been apprehended by the police for similar activity. Wyle was arrested on Monday for participating in a protest against Congress on behalf of the rights of the disabled.
Wyle joined forces with approximately 100 members of the disabled persons’ rights activist group ADAPT in a D.C.-based protest against Congress’ plan to cut Medicaid spending.
So what’s next? Julianna Margulies taken in for supporting green peace? Maura Tierney jailed for opposing genocide? Linda Cardellini getting in trouble for throwing a party with underaged drinking — oh, wait. That was an episode of Freaks and Geeks.
