Synopsis

The second TV-movie in 1983 using the title, "Happy Endings", explores the plight of a teenager who postpones his determination to become a songwriter so that he can keep his younger brother and two sisters together as a family following the death of their parents. Based on the true experiences of its producer-writer, Christopher Beaumont, one of the guiding forces behind TV's "Fame," this film, initially titled "House of Cards," also was the pilot to a prospective series.
