So we met the mother! If you watched the Season 8 finale of CBS’ How I Met Your Mother, you’ll know that we finally encountered the near-mythical title character. And she was played by…Cristin Milioti.
But now that we’ve seen her face, her journey toward actually becoming the mother of Ted Mosby’s children is far from over. Milioti is joining the cast full-time as a series regular for HIMYM‘s ninth and final season, starting this fall. Apparently, the entire season is going to take place over the weekend of Robin & Barney’s wedding.
Ted’s poor, poor children. Aren’t the 2030 Mosby offspring bored to tears from his long-form storytelling by now?
