Synopsis

Documentary that presents an aerial tour of Idaho's geologic grandeur. Beginning near the headwaters of the Snake River, the program visits the mountains and wilderness, deserts and canyons, rivers and plains, big lakes and rolling hills that compose Idaho. Some of the natural wonders seen in the program include the black basalt Snake River Plain Mesa and Shoshone falls; Bruneau, Owyhee and Hells canyons; St. Anthony and Bruneau sand dunes; Sawtooth, Lemhi and Bitterroot mountains; Salmon, Owyhee and Clearwater rivers; Coeur d'Alene, Pend Oreille and Priest lakes; and the green hills of the Palouse.
